We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our IT Development team as a Software Developer! The Developer will function as a mid-level contributor, actively participating in the development of technical requirements and the design of deliverables aligned with customer needs. This role involves translating these requirements into programming logic and creating code that meets high standards of quality and performance. The incumbent is expected to foster and maintain a strong customer service culture within their team and across the entire department, ensuring that all deliverables are aligned with both customer expectations and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, business analysts, lead developers, technical staff, and project team members to plan, design, implement, and enhance applications, scripts, and procedures, adhering to formal Project Management and Life Cycle Management methodologies.
- Develop and maintain programming logic and code, create comprehensive documentation, and perform testing on new and updated modules and systems in accordance with AWG IT standards.
- Facilitate business process improvements by leveraging new system capabilities to enhance productivity.
- Regularly consult with the lead developer for guidance on technical issues and project direction.
- Engage in code reviews for ongoing and existing system modules to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to overall system analysis to assess how new and updated modules will integrate with existing systems.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to project team members as appropriate, fostering professional growth and development.
- Participate in the evaluation and assessment of new tools and methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in collaboration with the Director of Business Analysis and customers, when evaluating the acquisition of off-the-shelf systems.

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 2-4 years of experience in software development, including expertise in coding, debugging, and documentation or equivalent combination of both education and experience are required.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the organization's technology stack.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining high-quality code and documentation and performing comprehensive testing.
- Solid understanding of system analysis, particularly in assessing integration and interaction between new and existing modules.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address technical issues and contribute to business process improvements.
