Johnson & Johnson is undertaking a major strategic transformation of our Identity and Access Management landscape over the next 3 years. This role will be within our J&J Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) organization, working at the intersection of business strategy, human-centered design, and emerging technology platform/program delivery. It could be office-based or remote in US or EMEA with a capability to overlap 5 hours into Raritan, NJ business day.

As Director of Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering, you will own the vision and direction of enterprise-wide internal and external Identity, Access, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Directory, PKI, SSO and MFA services on-premises and in the Cloud. You will ensure successful leveraging of these technologies across key customers and partners. Beyond financial, office and IT infrastructure systems, areas of Workforce Identity Management include global supply chain automation environments, cloud environments, acquisitions and divestitures, and localized In-Country systems.

This role requires technical experience in multiple fields such as operating platforms, network security, directory services, cloud services, automation tools as well as a deep understanding of all IAM-related technologies.

As IAM Sr. Director, you will lead and guide teams to accelerate the creation and evolution of business-value based and human-centric vision, strategy, architecture, requirements, service capability roadmaps, key performance indicators and targets that measure business value realization. The role involves collecting input from multiple parties for designing and maintaining innovative IAM and Directory services and security policies and providing input to incident response integration services.

Specific responsibilities:
  • Defines the development of vision, architecture, strategy, and roadmaps for Enterprise IAM, IGA, GRC, SSO, MFA, PKI and Directory products, collectively "IAM". Defines requirements, critical metrics and targets for Workforce Identity across IT globally
  • Improves strategies for the delivery of IAM services across J&J's global footprint. Builds future-ready capabilities to accelerate business growth strategies. Facilitates and coordinates priorities with suppliers, IT Infrastructure Services departments and Business IT groups.
  • Creates opportunities for efficiencies through innovative strategic decisions balancing cost and quality while maintaining appropriate levels of compliance and security.
  • Uses existing solutions and expertise to manage business partners' expectations, balancing business needs and regional/global solutions
  • Partners with Security and Enterprise Architects to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and products for potential in the IAM ecosystem.
  • Builds a consistent view of information that supports business decisions and enables tracking of business performance. Implements strong analytic tools that improve decision-making and enable automation.
  • Develops plans, implementation timelines, and deployment schedules for IAM initiatives. Oversee engineering, support and maintenance of the Enterprise IAM systems.
  • Delivers high quality work outcomes and customer service in a high-pressure, fast paced setting to meet company needs.
  • Leads recruitment, development, and management of a team of IT professionals, ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusivity, fostering collaboration, performance management, training, accountability of metrics and compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Manages finance and budget, driving compliance alignment activities.
  • Maintains key vendor relationships across the platforms and services that including the primary platforms (OneIdentity, Microsoft, Ping, Radiant SAP, Akamai).

Qualifications

Qualifications - Required
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent by track-record of successful enterprise experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • 10 years of broad IT infrastructure experience with 5+ years of IAM Engineering, architecture and operational support in a multi-platform, multi-vendor environment.
  • 8 years in a managerial capacity
  • 5 years Information Security experience
  • Outstanding people management and employee relations skills.
  • Strong leadership presence, influencing, collaboration, communication information-sharing and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and prioritize in parallel.
  • Customer service orientation, eye for business value, and a bias for action.
  • Expert at working with virtual, and diverse global teams of varied backgrounds and cultural experiences.
  • Experienced in leading, guiding and influencing larger-sized teams and projects without supervisory responsibility.
  • Exercises independent judgment, strong decision making and problem solving for key processes.

Qualifications - Preferred
  • Certifications in IAM and InfoSec (CIDPRO™, CISM, CISSP).
  • Experience within regulated environments (GxP or SOx)
