Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst – Financial Modelling to join our FinTech analytics team. This role requires a strong blend of finance domain expertise and data analytics capabilities. The selected candidate will work on complex financial datasets, build robust financial models, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with CFA Level II or Level III credentials and hands-on experience in Python and SQL who are looking to work at the intersection of finance and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Build, validate, and maintain financial models for forecasting and valuation
Analyze large and complex financial datasets using Python and SQL
Perform valuation analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis
Convert financial data into actionable business insights and structured reports
Support leadership and business teams with financial analytics
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across financial models
Collaborate with finance, analytics, and technology teams to improve financial processes
Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements in financial reporting

Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines
CFA Level II or Level III (completed or appearing) preferred
CFA certification strongly preferred
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy preferred)
Advanced SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis
Knowledge of valuation methodologies and capital markets concepts
Understanding of risk-return frameworks and financial metrics
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong quantitative and data interpretation abilities
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Experience in FinTech, financial services, or analytics-driven roles
Exposure to automation tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms
Familiarity with financial databases or market data platforms
Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
