Description
Role Purpose:To support business growth and operational efficiency by developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, design reports and dashboards, build and optimize data pipelines, and ensure data quality and consistency. Through advanced analytics and a deep understanding of business needs, the Business Intelligence Analyst will empowers stakeholders with timely, accurate, and meaningful information to drive informed decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
- Develop a solid understanding of the business, the contribution of each department, and the
metrics that drive performance - Work jointly with department heads and analysts to define KPIs and reports for company-wide
performance measurement - Communicating findings and recommendations to various teams and stakeholders, often working
closely with business users to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions - Create and maintain data pipelines, database structures, make sure that data is stored efficiently,
and write and test database code, including SQL (Structured Query Language) queries, python,
procedures, and functions - Implement reports and dashboards using BI / reporting software
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and seek data-based insights for business
operations improvement - Maintain a corporate repository of metric definitions, ensuring clarity and consistency
- Monitor data quality and resolve any issues in collaboration with data owners
- Proactive Initiative for creating data product
- Implementing basic to moderate advanced analytics modeling to uncover patterns or discover
actionable insights
Qualifications
- Min 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role (business analyst, data analyst, reporting analyst, or
quantitative analyst) - Strong understanding of databases and SQL, NoSQL, Structure and Non-Structured Data
processing - Proficiency with data pipeline tools such as dbt and airflow
- Proficiency with reporting software like Tableau, Metabase
- Expertise in using Jupyter Notebooks for data exploration, analysis, and model development
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation and statistical
analysis - Ideally, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistic, Engineering, Math, Physics, Finance,
Economics or a related field - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen and articulate your ideas clearly
- Analytical, diligent, and rigorous in your approach to problems
- Curiosity about data and a passion for finding answers hidden in data sets
- Bonus points for experience in consulting, operations, statistics, predictive analytics, or SaaS
- A good understanding of business principles and industry knowledge is important for relating data
insights to business strategy especially, a business acumen on b2b commercial transaction
