POSITION SUMMARY
The BI Analyst will create reporting and analytics deliverables that help Credico make better business decisions. The individual will determine reporting and forecasting best practices and develop actionable insights and recommendations for their assigned campaigns. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a new and robust BI Platform. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate cross-functionally to determine and address data and reporting needs for various company projects.
- Produce and track key performance indicators.
- Build, test, and publish reports in Qlik Sense, Mail & Deploy, EDW, and ARC (in house database).
- Perform ongoing quality control of work outputs and data.
- Identify and interpret patterns and trends.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Create reports to share your findings and recommendations with the internal and external teams.
- Determine the meaning of data and explain how various teams can leverage it to improve and streamline their processes or our business.
- Continuous improvement and continuous development of the BI Platform.
- Creative and technical problem solving.
- Other duties as assigned or are necessary that support the overall business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive hands-on experience with one or more of the following BI platforms: Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or SAS.
- Experience working with an enterprise data warehouse.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role.
- Ability to identify useful information in data sets and draw conclusions that support decision making.
- Strong understanding of database concepts. SQL experience is a plus.
- Experience using Python to automate repetitive tasks.
- Expert with Microsoft Excel and an aptitude for math.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience.
- Excellent leadership, organization, collaboration, and keen attention to detail.
- Track record of completing assignments on time and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to juggle multiple time sensitive assignments.
- Must have a team-first, individual second attitude.
- Bring passion to learn new things.
- Always demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude when there are new requests.
